LANmark-6 10G Ultim cords offer superior performance and deliver 500MHz channel performance exceeding the Category 6 requirements. The cords are developed to support the new 10 Gigabit Ethernet requirements as in IEEE 802.3an draft 2.3. They can also be used for accurate field testing of channel performance. They provide improved data throughput and allow for the inclusion of a cross-connect or Consolidation Points for maximum system flexibility. They will also maximise the lifetime and long term performance of the system by minimising the risk of wear & tear damage which can be caused by using non-matched cords.

The LANmark-6 10G Ultim patchcords fully comply to the de-embedded test requirements as in the IEC 60603-7-4, IEC 60603-7-5 and the EIA/TIA-568-B.2-1. This full Cat6 patchcord maximises the full performance of the channel even up to 500MHz and will exceed the requirements of the ISO/IEC 11801:2002. This provides improved data throughtput and allows for the inclusion of consolidation points for maximum system flexibility. When used with Nexans LANmark-6 10G cable and connectors, the channel reaches the highest performance in Category 6 and Class E up to 500MHz and fully complies to the requirements of 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
